Re: GT Academy for Europe!!!!
Since going back on Forza I just find GT no fun because there's literally no feel for the cars whatsoever, so you can't put them exactly where you want :L
Re: GT Academy for Europe!!!!
are you sure its not your wheel settings?

Yeah it is me
Thought it might be. Not many people turn up who are that fast, that I don't know who they are
Good news for me, the more people who are ahead of me who aren't eligible the better. Right now I know of 3 in the Top 20 who aren't eligible. I dont have time to run the competition at the moment, so I am way off the pace, but I will put some good laps in sooner or later I think.

I wondered why you wasnt up there, I was expecting to see you in the top 10. I might be ineligible aswell if I fail my driving test.GTP_Sigma wrote:Mau5_Skills wrote:Thanks

Re: GT Academy for Europe!!!!
Awesome time Maus/Dantastic -_-, well done mate!
Unfortunately I have a broken right wrist and more surgery on the 9th March so can't get anywhere near a decent time one handed and gearbox set to auto!
Knew I shouldn't have gone skiing this year!
@ Dan (Xtreme) - Come on mate, its well worth you hot lapping this for a few hours to get the credentials. If you make it through just imagine what it could do for your racing career mate!
Any Fanatec PWTS wheel settings you guys are using that could help me out would be appreciated, I am with Dan that the cars on GT just don't feel the same as on Forza, but am really trying to stay enthusiastic about GT. I also use the CSP's and wonder if you have a preferred setting for the brake pressure dial on the Academy TT?

How long has your wrist been broken? It must suck having to play in auto.

Re: GT Academy for Europe!!!!
Six weeks now, I have the final operation tomorrow to remove the pins and hopefully repair the nerve and tendons. Its a bit worrying that I can't feel my thumb and first two fingers on my right hand, but a godsend i'm left handed!

Best settings I've found are:
Sen: 270 (Majority use 900)
FF: 60
Sho: 100
ABS: 75
Lin: 20 (0 if Sen is on 900/as low as possible without it shaking)
Re: GT Academy for Europe!!!!
Good job finishing in the top 20 Dan.
Sadly I never found the time in the end to really try and finish high on the leader board. I don't mind though, I am not available at the time of the national finals this year. I really enjoyed it last time, so I'm sure you will enjoy the experience too.
Oh, and good luck.
